The best EiS fic ever written, bar none. The hardest line for anyone to walk in this fandom is balancing Cid’s psychotic act with the real consequences of them, and trying to figure out how to resolve the conflict of miscommunication is a task I didn’t think anyone could do. But this fic did it. Read it.

And that's quite unsettling because she wakes up in his house, in a cage.
