Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
It was just another early shift. One he, in all honesty, hasn’t been looking forward to.
To be fair though, he didn’t think anyone in their right mind would want to wake up at 4am on a Sunday- let alone work on one. Wasn’t it supposed to be a day of rest or something?
It wasn’t fair that he had to come in just so people could get some shopping done.
Not fair at all. But the world didn’t run on fairness. It ran on money and convenience, at least that’s what Phil thinks. He can’t help but think it’s run more on his personal pain and suffering but nuance never served him much good when working in customer service.

That is until the crowd goes wild. Wilbur turns, if only to see what stupidity could possibly possess that kind of reaction, and sees a certain blonde haired boy with an unmistakable mask.
In the middle of the damn crowd.
Will clicks on his radio with a sigh.
“Found him.”

Summary
As soon as cloning became commonplace, vampires saw no need to keep ‘free roaming’ humans around. They are now the dominant species, and humans are made in labs to satiate the need for food.
Broadly speaking, there are two types of humans. Common feeder lines are mass-produced, each branch consisting of over a hundred specimens, created to be sold cheaply to any coven that will take them. They are made with a few simple qualities in mind: nutritious blood, docile temperaments, and no health problems.
Then there are designer lines. Genetically engineered to be as tasty as they come, richer covens are happy to pay some extra bucks if it means having a rare, limited-edition human in their possession.
The Blade line is extremely rare. Techno might be one of a dozen or so left.
Coincidentally, the Antarctic Coven just acquired themselves a collector's item.
