Summary
They gravitated towards Zuko whenever the temperature dipped even slightly. At night, he often woke to someone pulling their bedroll towards him, or slipping under his arm, or turning over in their sleep and colliding with his shoulder.
It alarmed him, at first. It had never been a good thing when someone woke him in the dead of the night.
It was strange, then, that he was on the run without Uncle, officially a traitor to his homeland, and for the first time since his mother left, he woke in the night sandwiched between bodies, feeling safe.
(Zuko becomes the group's heat-pack.)

Summary
When Zuko dashes into the sitting room, it is with the same wide-eyed panic that he ran from Azula’s smoking hands when he was a child. Iroh bites down on a smile. Zuko looks the same, even now, a decade later with a scar blossomed over one side of his face, green and brown robes replacing the solitary reds of his childhood. His hair is puffed up around his face. He looks like a very frightened, very windswept turtle-dove.
Zuko dives behind Iroh just as Aang breezes to a stop in the doorway.
Five times Zuko hid behind Iroh, plus one time Zuko stood proudly in front of him.

Summary
AU where Zuko realises early into his banishment that Ozai is an abusive bastard who sent him on a wild goose chase. Iroh turns their decommissioned warship into a floating tea shop, and Zuko settles down as a tea server onboard the Jasmine Dragon.
And then, years later, the Avatar emerges from the iceberg.
And then Aang decides that he wants Zuko, the first good firebender he’s met this century, to be his firebending teacher - even though Zuko wants nothing to do with him.

Summary
It’s been a month since the revolution. Androids can work, own property, and not be in fear of being attacked while outside. Connor is happy, living in Hank's spare room, and surrounded by the people he loves. He's working at the DPD, and in time, he'll be qualified as a real detective.
All in all, this is the best ending anyone could have hoped for.
Until it isn't.

Homecoming AU.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on.

wHAT a rIDE. I’ve been following this one forever. Very well written. Doesn’t use my favorite tropes, but still very good. (Of course it’s good. Goodness doesn’t depend on whether it fits my personal tastes or not. Just look - as I’m writing this, it pretty much has as many words as it has hits. Definitely recommend, if you can handle mature subject matter.)
