“Hello, Archivist,” the monster greeted. The smile never left his face and his cheeks were full and rosy and covered in freckles and his eyes were bright and honey-brown and everything was wrong. Too sweet, too trustworthy, cherubic, and cloying.
Jon smelled honey in the wind, just shy of rancid.
