“I suppose you could say I’m your guardian angel,” the man murmurs. His breath fogs pale between them. All of him is unnaturally warm, like Dean’s touching somebody with the sun sewn up beneath their skin. “I have known you, Dean Winchester, for a very long time.”

When the flower shop owner sweeps his fingers through his hair, he nearly knocks the flowers tucked behind his left ear off; he spends a fussy moment readjusting them with both hands. “I don’t need to be rescued. Especially not by a stranger.”
Sheesh. Touchy.
But since Dean would have flashed fangs if anyone had thought he couldn’t take care of his own damned self, he can’t be throwing any stones. He shrugs—big and exaggerated, both hands up. "Not sayin’ you did. Look, not your fault that God put alpha brains at the base of their dicks."
The lowered blue eyes snap back to his. Flower Boy inhales with his lips parted, all pretense at not sniffing Dean out gone, and his eyes go wider.
Dean might not dress or act or look like any kind of sweet little omega, but he knows just what he smells like: really fucking inviting.

Summary
After an explosive fight with his wife, Castiel Novak finds himself divorced and unemployed at thirty-four years old. Living with Dean is easy, and almost immediately, Castiel and Dean fall back into their old friendship. And living with Dean awakens other feelings in Castiel, ones that he once thought impossible (doesn’t everyone appreciate the aesthetic qualities of their roommates?). But the specter of one disastrous night in college hangs over them both, making it impossible for them to truly reflect on their friendship–and maybe making it impossible for them to move forward into anything real.

Summary

Castiel and Dean had plans. To travel, write, get married, and have a family. Instead, Dean had inexplicably disappeared without a word, leaving Castiel behind, brokenhearted. And now he knew why.
When Castiel’s Aunt Amara reveals that she knows where Dean is, the successful Sci-fi writer is determined to seek him out and to hear his side of the story.
Even if it’s fifteen years too late.
To say Dean is shellshocked when his one true love walks back into his life is an understatement. Leaving Castiel was the hardest thing Dean ever had to do, even if it had been for his own good, and he couldn’t be sorry for it.

Except Dean must have done something to epically piss off the universe because Jess’s best man just happens to be Castiel friggin’ Novak. Her employees: Dean, the smartass runaway with a big heart and bigger mouth; Castiel, the college drop-out turned hippie; his (surprisingly heterosexual) trouble-making brother Gabriel; and Charlie, who has been told several times that the back room is not to be used for after-hours Dungeons & Dragons games.
But there's a lot of love in this place, and a new family for anyone who may otherwise be without.

As a grease monkey turned college freshman, Dean's constantly three seconds away from being stressed out of his mind. It hardly helps that he's finally figuring out his sexuality in his thirties.
What might help with that stress is a little phone number (and a big credit card bill). If he can't figure out how to be bisexual in person, he can at least give it a go over the phone, right?
