Summary
You returned to the Shadow Cursed Lands with Halsin to find that grass and flowers had sprung up. Thaniel and Oliver had each other to play with but were overjoyed to play with Halsin. You watched him put the eternal children on his broad shoulders and chase them around. When he tired, he sat down on a patch of grass and allowed Thaniel to put flowers into his hair. Oliver gave him his stuffed Owlbear, and he gave it voice, which made him laugh. You knew Halsin would be an excellent father, but you were still nervous to tell him what you believed to be true. He liked to roam free; it was his nature, so you weren’t sure he would enjoy being tied down with a family.
(You and Halsin return to the Shadow Cursed Lands to find that the land is healing. Seeing him play with Thaniel and Oliver makes you want to tell him you're pregnant but you're worried about his reaction.)
