The pin with Bubble’s face on it—(“Only 9.99!” Pomni could recall Caine saying) —that he was wearing catches in the light. Pomni can’t help but find how ironic it is considering how uncomfortable Gummigoo is around Bubble. There’s nothing on the pin that directly spells out ‘NPC’ or anything distinct like that, but it still serves its purpose and it serves it well.
Seeing Gummigoo with it on is a little silly, but every single time Pomni catches sight of it, no matter how long it’s been, and no matter how manic or stressed out she is at the moment, she can only feel grateful.
It means he’s still here with her.
“—Ya should at least take me out to dinner first If you’re gonna keep starin’ at my chest like that, Mate.” Gummigoo says; snapping her out of her reverie. Its all in jest, and the subtle laughter in his voice confirms it.

He tells her stories about his first life.
He reads poetry to her.
He assures her, and reassures her, and reassures her again that he loves her, that he’ll always love her, that he’s so thankful they’ve been given this second life together.
