Summary
Martin had been baffled by how easily he spilled his guts out to this odd stranger. Now, Martin is more baffled by the baggy My Chemical Romance t-shirt he's wearing, paired with tasteful plaid pajama bottoms.
Or, Martin gets a visitor in his dreams. Reliving the same 14 days of loneliness every night isn't as bad when you have company.

“Are you afraid?” Jon asks.
“No,” says Martin.
Jon’s eyes blink in a rippling motion, and for a moment, Martin thinks he catches a flurry of wings, numberless feathery things that form a shifting halo behind his back. “Good,” he says.

Summary
Martin finds them eventually, tapered white wax, twenty or thirty of them beside a box of ancient (but dry) matches, and a little brass dish with a slot that just about fits the base of the candle. He feels like Scrooge, fitting the whole thing together, tucking a few more into his pocket before striking a match -
Which immediately goes out.
“Oh, fuck you,” Martin says into the murk.
Again -
And again, the fire vanishes. Quick and efficient as a breath. He shivers in the sudden cold.

Martin Blackwood inherits an old country house, but there are more inhabitants than he first realises. When eventually the paranormal occurrences become too frequent and dangerous for him to ignore, he has to turn to a group of misfit ghost hunters for help.

“She resents me.” Daisy said, low but sudden. Jon blinked once, twice. He felt sluggish, like his mind and eyes were working at half the speed they were supposed to.
“What?”
“Basira. She resents me.”

Summary
Jonathan Sims, researcher at the Magnus Institute, is seeing a ghost. Of himself.
Of course, it’s not really him, no matter what secrets it knows, or how many arguments it brings up. So if it tells him to do something?Obviously, he’ll be doing the exact opposite.
(AKA: Jon is an idiot, past and future, but somewhere along the way it all cancels out.)

Summary
Martin had always been favored by the summer courts, and moving up north to the little village of Lacuna is a difficult adjustment. It's rainy and lonely and everyone seems to have a strange, distant relationship with the local faerie court.
However: there is a strange man in a cloak who walks past Martin's remote little cottage every few days.
However: there is a moth that keeps getting stuck in Martin's house during the rain.
These events are not as disconnected as they first appear.

Summary
Jon has recently been promoted to Head Archivist. Jon is quickly Becoming something else. He doesn't know what to do about it.
The most pressing thing about all of this, the thing that burns through him every night as he lies awake turning it over in his mind, is why. Why is this happening, why is he feeling like this, why is he having strange new dreams that he can’t even remember, why why why? The questions claw at him like a physical need, until he’s choking on it. He wants to know, needs to know, and it’s like there’s a pressure building in his brain every time he asks the same question of himself and doesn’t get an answer. He wants to know, he’s practically sick with it.

Summary
In a world parallel to that of the Archives and the Institute, a supernatural sanctuary stands against a cruel and uncaring world: A world of bureaucracy and tyranny, of murder and carnage, of loneliness and surveillence, of plague and death.
But in this world of fear and misery, 14 entities born of the hopes of the world have emerged. And one of them has made their home here, at The Magnus Sanctuary. Perhaps, the employees within may lead happier lives than their counterparts did in the Archives.
(TLDR, it's a wish-fulfillment AU set in a dystopian alternate world, filled with fluffy ships and cute stories about Gaurdian-Angel-esque monsters.)

Jon’s wings take longer than they should to fledge. It’s a contrast to everything else about him at this age—horn-rimmed glasses, sweater vests, an air of serious concentration and his ever-present unholy prickliness, like an old man writ into the body of a gangly teenager.

Summary
The books dig into his chair, and he leans his head back, eyes fluttering closed. When he breathes, it smells like the crisp air of the forest, and he thinks he should leave, or at the very least worry that this is not what he thinks, that maybe it’s the coffin, pushing back -
Instead he licks his lips and says: “Martin?”
There’s no answer, but the bookcase moves again, and for a few seconds he is utterly trapped, the desk digging into his stomach; it’s painful, it’s heavy, and he loses his breath - but these days, it’s as close as he gets to an embrace.

Driven by a desire to prove himself, Martin had left the safety of the city and hiked to the old tower in the forest. There was a monster asleep there: the terrible Archivist, with many eyes and many questions.
The plan was to kill it - but plans rarely go as expected, and Martin finds himself in the middle of a centuries-old struggle by the side of a creature more human than he could have ever expected.

Summary
At some point during their search of the party they stumble upon a girl whose shirt shifted and changed, the embroidered flower pattern blooming and wilting in a continuous loop. They’re both slightly mesmerized. Newt leans over, lips so close that they brush against the shell of his ear. “I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore Tommy.” A sunflower petal drifted down the girl’s arm.
“It’s ‘feeling’.” Thomas rasps out, heart jackhammering, watching the living shirt grow and decay all over again.
Newt quirks his scarred eyebrow indulgently. “What?”
Thomas turns, their faces inches apart and trying to keep his voice even. “It’s ‘feeling’. The line. People always say it wrong. It’s ‘Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.’ People always…they always get that one wrong.”
Newt’s playful smile shifts into something teasing and, yes, dangerous. Maybe just a bit beautiful as well.
(Or; In between glowing screens with promises about his future and cracked pavement that spilled his memories, for one summer, Thomas floats.)
