It was bad enough that a Khajiit of all things had been made a Thane, but Lydia could hardly believe that Dar'Zahyla was a fabled Dragonborn as well. She was barely more than a kid, and an entirely hopeless one at that.
Only a week into being named her housecarl and Lydia's already been dragged over stormy mountains, through freezing lakes, and into spider-infested caves at the daft Khajiit's insistence.
But a job is a job, and she has sworn to look after her and carry her burdens. She just wishes that the Dragonborn was a little more... competent.
