It's the first party of the season, and everyone's excited to enjoy an easy get-together before breaking off into projects and season-long builds. The music is rocking, Keralis is thrilled to be hosting, Hermits are exploring who they'd like to pair up with, and everything is going great.
Until someone gets over-excited, and the whole server is overstimulated into a temporary heat-rut, derailing the evening-without-attachments. Which, okay, isn't exactly an end to their night, just an inconvenience.
Until one Hermit joins in, after years of remaining supportive but aloof. And False is reminded just how long she's held a torch for her admin, even without knowing his designation.

Bundled up in layer upon layer of clothing, with thick wool gloves and a hat with a pompom on it, Gem made her way out of the warmth of her home to meet Scar. Rather than flying or even taking Moose, Gem decided to walk. The forests were beautiful as frost clung to the blades of grass that weren’t buried under snow, sparkling under the weak light of the sun, and the evidence of other Hermits playing and having fun was clear for all to see. There were snowmen, snow angels, the remnants of snowball fights and igloos. Gem was sure to add an angel of her own to the mix, picking a spot in the usually more Mediterranean Big Eye Bay to fall backward into a pile of snow and start to spread her arms and legs repeatedly. When she was satisfied that she’d left her imprint in the snow, Gem clambered back to her feet and admired her handiwork.

Her investigation leads her from an adult club in a dark alley all the way up the ranks of society to uncover a huge scandal involving the mayor, Keralis, and the captain of the police force, Xisuma Void, and further down into a dark hole.When family members and acquaintances all seem to be involved in a dark scheme that will endanger everyone they love, it's up to False, Cleo, Xisuma, Stress and their trusted friends to take down a larger evil than they have ever seen before. And who knows, they might find some comfort in each other along the way.
