When Sakura first arrived to class, he noticed the way all his classmates reacted to just Umemiya’s voice and how Hiragi looked so afraid of reporting to Umemiya. After all that, Sakura expected him to look scary or cool or to at least have a dominant personality, but he was disappointed. Seeing how Umemiya was loud, cheerful, and carefree, Sakura wondered what it was that attracted people to him, but it didn’t take him long to realize that that was the exact reason. Umemiya’s self is what attracted everyone, and it was what made Sakura fall in love with him. Umemiya was like the sun to his moon; he never pushed him away or called him ugly or an alien. Instead, Umemiya complimented him, touched him, held him close like a best friend, and even trusted him with his past. He felt special, loved, and cared for whenever it came to Umemiya. He was enchanted by him.
After all, Umemiya had built him a place he could finally call home.

Something’s wrong with Dennis.
It starts small, just little things that Robby hardly registers at first. It’s a busy day, it’s been a busy week, so when it vaguely ticks that Dennis is a little quieter than usual during rounds, fumbling his notes, missing cues he normally catches, he doesn’t actually think twice about it.
Nor how when Robby asks him a question about a patient’s chart, and Dennis blinks like he’s been startled awake.
It’s only when Robby looks, really looks, that he notices that something is… off.Actually off.

Which is not an issue, not in the slightest, because there’s something deeply satisfying to both men to see their partner dressed in their clothes, whether that’s draped in one of Robby’s T-shirts, the fabric loose as the collar slips towards his shoulders, or in Jack’s sweatpants with the waistband all bunched up and the legs rolled, it’s something that both of them like.

Dennis couldn't remember the last time he had been present in a space that wasn't cleaned of him. It might have had something to do with a more conservative upbringing, or the plethora of children inhabiting a house built for Christian magazines. White walls, white counters, white tile. If he'd stayed, he'd be wearing his white shirts, an outward manifestation of the clean body underneath.
Otherwise known as Dennis's religious trauma, leading to him living as a Beta. He becomes obsessed with Robby and Jack because their scents can get through his thoroughly abused nose and set his hormones ablaze. The man looks at someone behind him, some expression he can’t quite figure out. He starts to say something else, and—oh shit he’s gonna throw up fuck—he tries to lean away and not vomit all over anyone else. He doesn't quite make it.
“Shit,” yeah, he definitely ruined that guy’s shoes. Whoops. “Sorry.”

Or, Dennis has trouble asking for help and is going to die on his hill. Until he realizes he shouldn't.
5+1 things, in which Dennis is sick/injured/etc, and everyone else made it their problem. And the one time Dennis came to them because he was down so bad, but they were happy he finally trusted them before he bit the dust.
