Summary
Steve and the newlyweds Natalia and Bucky arrive in Oregon in 1842 and try to eke out a happy little existence. They are joined by one more in their traveling party, James Buchanan Barnes, Junior, or Jemmy as his mother calls him. Days before Jemmy's third month of life, Bucky and Natalia go missing, and Steve looks for help with the baby while he searches for his friends.
When he walks into Stark's saloon, he thought he'd be getting a 'working' lady to help him make sure baby Jemmy doesn't starve to death. Instead he gets a buxom little lady wearing men's britches with a mystery surrounding her. She's a little bit of a bossy know-it-all, but Steve can't find that he has any complaints.

Once upon a time...in a kingdom long ago and far away...there lived two sisters, one very dateable and one more poisonous. Sort of. Darcy has been forbidden to date without her Fury appointed chaperone, the Black Widow. Steve would be able to date Darcy, and Bucky would be able to date Helen, so long as their buddy Sam will woo Natasha Romanoff as well. It sounds easy enough, but the course of truest love never did run smooth.
AKA: Thor is in charge of story time in Asgard, and he tells the tale of a trio of romances underway in the new Avengers Facility, in only a way Thor could.

When Darcy finds a little kitten outside of the tower, she can't help but bring him home. He's a gorgeous little Maine coon cat with beautiful gray-blue eyes, big soft fluffy ears and exactly three limbs. She names him Jimmy in honor of the friend that Steve is looking for so desperately. The kitty is a protective little thing, definitely adores Darcy, and has a bit of a thievery problem.

It took long enough, but Darcy finally gets accidentally transported off of Earth. She did not expect Steve Rogers to tag along, namely because she is about one hundred percent certain that Steve Rogers cannot stand her.

Summary

Your mystery caller was another reason you stuck it out at WKQX and kept up the Broken Hearts show on weekends. He’d started calling a few months before, admitting that he hadn’t been exposed to much modern music growing up and wanted to learn. He had a heart on the mend too, the need for catharsis being the reasoning behind his first late night call. It was one of the few listener calls that made you tear up, the story of a man who had fallen in love to lose the girl, finding her again only when she was gravely ill. He had called you for the first time a few weeks after she had passed, and you still got calls from listeners asking to be put in touch with the sad man who had lost his first love, certain they were the ones who could heal his broken heart.
