Summary
When they told him of what had happened Odysseus could have screamed. His husband. His husband. His husband was taken by some barbarians?!
He growls, "What do you mean he was taken?"
Laenor looks away suddenly shy.
"Your grace it's not-'
Odysseus doesn't listen, he walks out of his tent and grabs his horse. He is a man on a mission. Grabbing his sword and shield and bow and arrow he saddles his horse. He swings his leg up and straddles him his steed neighs, happy to see his owner. He scowls as Eurylochus tries to stop him.
"Get away-'', Odysseus scowls, pulling on his horses reigns so they move back away from his second in command.
Eurylochus shakes his head,"Please be reasonable."
Odysseus scoffs the nerve of this man, "My husband! Husband! He was taken! In what world am I expected to be rational...much less reasonable!."
Odysseus turns to Leanor, angry, his face filled with intimidation, "You lost my husband! You lost my husband from an ambush of barbarians! That could be doing anything to him!"
"I will find him! And if he is hurt, you all will be given 50 lashes and gods stop me from making you all run straight to Olympus!"

Summary
Odysseus stands next to his friend. His tent had strategically, by him of course, been destroyed. Of course Polites didn't know. Which left his dear, lovely Polites without a place to sleep, and what better idea then for him to sleep with Odysseus in his large, warm, safe tent. Which would be far, very far from that stupid Laenor.
There Odysseus could hold him in his warm, safe arms. There Odysseus could make sure his dreams were kind and benevolent. They could sleep as husbands.

Summary
Odysseus has taken to watching him, whenever it is not suspicious to do so. Polites is slightly taller than him, a fact he used to detest as a child. He was the older one, yet was smaller? It was an insult in his mind. However, now, his height seems to be fuel to his fantasies.
Odysseus doesn't notice his brother in law, Eurylochus, walking up to him till the dark skinned man's hand grabs his shoulder.
"Staring captain?", The man laughs raising an eyebrow.

Summary
George walks into Dreams room and isn't expecting what he finds. There on the bed is a sad Dream snacking on some Chex Mix.
"Are you alright?" He asks.
Dream looks at him unshed tears threatening to spill, "Is it that obvious that I'm not okay?"
George looks around awkwardly, human interaction was never his strong suit.

for a moment, Odysseus was silent, his gaze meeting polites' with all weight of the journeys they had shared. He stepped closer, his hand grazing polites' arm, feeling the strength beneath the warrior's skin. "No more pretending." Odysseus whispered, his voice rough with the intensity of everything they had held back for so long, in that moment, with the world at war behind them and the uncertain future ahead, they allowed themselves to finally embrace the truth that been growing between them all along.
A bond deeper than friendship, stronger than battle—it was love.
