Inspired by the HP universe, this story both follows and diverges from canon. Names and worldbuilding have been reimagined, while the story remains grounded in the feel and magic of HP. The plot draws inspiration from books 1 - 3, blending recognizable events with original developments in a retelling with aged-up characters.
I hope this story becomes a quiet place to return to - enjoyed with a cup of coffee/tea and a warm blanket - and that it might spark a little of the magic we all felt when we first discovered Harry Potter.

That he wears specifically because he knows just how much of an advantage they give him in a dangerous, dangerous game.
Kirishima’s his opponent, as usual. He’s wearing his own gameday best, a pair of silky basketball shorts, the thin fabric pulled tight over the clear shape of his dick. Sitting there on the opposite side of the couch, one leg crossed ankle-over-knee, Bakugou can see clear up the line of his leg, clear to the dark space beyond where—and this is a point for Bakugou in the game—he’s quite clearly gone without underwear.

He knew Keith by heart when he left. The fire in his eyes, the grace in his movement, the deepening timbre of his voice.
The softness of his lips.
The sweet press of his body in the middle of the night.
These things followed Shiro through time and space… and this isn't the first time his captors have used them all against him.
He's seen Keith before, heard the sound of his voice and felt the touch of his lips… only to wake up naked on a metal table or cold and alone in a cell. He can't remember the specifics, he can't remember much of anything… but he knows that the person sitting next to him might not actually be the man he loves.

They've been sparring together in one of the Garrison gyms ever since Keith got serious about his combat training, but anytime Shiro tries to tell him how much he's improving, Keith locks up. He gets defensive - angry, even - and his technique suffers for it.

Matt's face flips through several inscrutable expressions before landing on something Keith can recognize as perhaps sympathetic.
“I see,” he nods, long fingers tapping at his chin as he sizes Keith up. “So you want to prove to Shiro that you can complete the human trials of Advent?”
Keith puffs up, chest out and ears pricked as he nods. “Yes, if that is what humans do.”

He had never been asked, point blank, if he was gay before. And he honestly had never thought about how he would respond. Lying about himself didn’t sit right with him. But he’d always wanted to wait until he was the number one hero - when he stood above everyone else - before coming out. Though he’d had times when he’d thought about doing it before then and had almost gone through with it once. But being the number one hero came first. It wouldn’t matter what people would say about it then as long as he’d risen to the top.
Bakugou knew his lack of a response would give Camie all the answers she needed.
