Summary
I always find it weird/unnatural when shows don’t mention the main cast’s families, so the fact that Ray’s, Victor’s, Vera’s, and Vargas’s parents are never mentioned means there’s lots of room for headcanons.
Ray is foundling — a child, abandoned on the steps of Bright Tower, raised by servants to ‘earn his keep’ — but he yearns for a life that is more than cooking, cleaning, and errands. Camp Rayburn was his chance to prove to Commander Bright that he was worth keeping around, and he blew it. Fortunately for Ray, there’s plenty of other people, who love him for who he is — he just needs to look in the right place.

There is no one out there who could even notice his disappearance let alone try to rescue him. But HYDRA doesn’t kill him. They want another soldier boy. A better one. One that they can inject The Venom and won’t die because of it.
OR
Post- No Way Home (End game or infinity war never happened ‘cause I hate them) spell erases Peter Parker from existence but Spider Man's actions stay. And when Spider Man vanishes from the streets, the world assumes he's dead, retired, or simply got sick of the hero gig. No one connects the dots because there's no one who can connect them to a nameless dot.
