“I’m just curious,” Jisung insists. He fidgets on the bed, pressing harder against the cool wall at his back. The words feel wrong in his mouth, like chewing on grains of sand. Like a lie. “Can't a guy be curious about his friends' sex lives?”
Changbin flicks his forehead with aggression that Jisung thinks is wholly unwarranted. “You deserved that,” Changbin informs him and smiles, an awful, knowing smile that makes Jisung instantly uneasy. “Is that what's eating at you, that you’ve never had Minho-hyung like that? Being his self-proclaimed soulmate and favourite person in the world isn’t enough, is it? You want all of him to yourself.” Changbin tsks, wagging a finger at him. “Greedy, greedy Hannie.”

Summary
Since debut, Minho learned that Jisung was a romantic. He talked about soulmates the same way he wrote his lyrics, trapped somewhere between drama and heartbreaking truth. That was something they couldn’t have. Their careers were fragile things, just now feeling the edges of success. He couldn’t ruin those things for Jisung, who hung on to these fantasies of love at first sight.

“Has anyone ever told you it’s rude to stare,” the man asks beside him. His voice is airy and beautiful, just like him, and it only makes him more attractive. It’s infuriating. Couldn’t this guy have had an annoying voice to offset his good looks?
Despite his social anxiety, or perhaps because of it, Jisung has never had the best filter. He blames it for the next words out of his mouth. “Has anyone ever told you it’s rude to be so fucking pretty?”
The man looks at him, eyes blinking quickly as he tries to make sense of what Jisung just said to him. His lips are in a half-pout as he processes. “What?”
“Your face. It’s annoying.”

"Well, how do I go about telling them that, hey, I noticed you looking at me like you want to take me to your bedroom and eat me alive, and I would very much like to be eaten, but, sorry, I wouldn’t know what to do in the bedroom because I’ve never even kissed anyone, unless you count the time I gave a peck to my very, very platonic friend a decade ago even though he still denies it ever happened to this day, the asshole. And also,” he hurries to add as if Minho was interrupting him, ”that's also if I can ever manage to come up and talk to them in the first place, how do you even begin to communicate that you want...”
Minho has stopped breathing since Jisung said he wants to be eaten. He watches as Jisung's blush spreads from his neck up, up to his ears, watches as his cheeks go from pink to red as he fumbles to find the words.
“To be eaten?” Minho finishes for him.
Jisung covers his entire face with his hands before nodding.

Summary
Minho's used to silence. He's used to the way the villagers avoid his eyes when they visit him asking for help, the way they look at him with fear and distrust when they think he can't see. He's used to his world being the sprawling garden within the old ivy-covered iron fence and the familiar warmth of the cottage. He's used to it just being him, his cats, and the old journals.
It isn't until a villager somehow wanders into the garden despite the enchantments that he's faced with how unbearably isolated he's become, or how hard it is to open up to someone after years of being alone— or how freeing it is to know someone understands him.

He took one small, soundless step closer, toeing the floor.
He took a second step closer, his chest hovering over Minho’s back, the warmth of the man’s body feeling strange against his own cold one.
He inhaled deeply, but carefully, just behind Minho’s ear as he leaned in, trying to imbibe the smell and taste of the man’s skin on his tongue and up his nose.
Jisung’s hot, wet breath fanned over the small hairs on Minho’s neck...Or, Minho is the pretty boy next door who Jisung wants to eat.

Minho doesn't mean to kiss Jisung. He doesn’t mean to press his and the guitarist’s lips together at all, but somehow it happens anyway. His lips are unfairly soft, and all Minho wants to do is take more, even though he really, really, shouldn’t.
He doesn’t mean for Jisung to whimper when he pushes Minho away, nor for a tear to escape the boy's eyes, falling down his cheek, but the teardrop is hidden by his long bleached hair. Jisung is narcissistic, cocky, aloof, and cold, though, isn't he? Then why does Minho feel so incredibly guilty, seeing him with a scowl on his face?
And more importantly, why does he want to reach out to wipe his tears and kiss him again?OR: The one where Jisung teaches Minho to chase his dreams, and Minho teaches Jisung that he doesn't have to be afraid anymore.

Jisung gives him a wide-eyed look of innocence, and Minho responds with an equally fake sigh. He knows he’ll have an obsessively needy, whiny Jisung on his hands, as if Minho should feel guilty for letting his own boyfriend touch him. Minho will mock Jisung for it and pretend to be annoyed, because these are the rules of this little game of theirs.
It’s not as fun if one of them is so in love he’s choking on it, sweating it out of his pores and wrestling back the words with every breath, and the other just likes to get his dick wet where he shouldn’t.
