If that means joining up with rich dudes playing dress up, pasty nerds with hacking and photography habits, and throwing on a costume herself, then that’s just what she’ll have to do. Even if Batman works alone. She’s convincing.

There has never been a more in-depth look into that strange condition known as vampirism. This series deals with uncomfortable questions and problems for which there are not always pleasant solutions. It's a deep dive into Los Angeles in the Vampire: The Masquerade setting, following a cast of old and new vampires as it explores how each has adapted to their condition, for better or worse. I've read a few Vampire: The Masquerade fanfics, but this is the first of them to make me agree with the idea that vampirism is a curse.
