It's a to-and-fro meant as a self-stimulatory soothe. He's trying to keep it together. Head down, tears freely falling onto his soiled pants. There's already a fresh chuck underneath him, and Dana doesn't want to think about that—she didn't think to check the back of his pants as he was leaving. Although it's not like he gave them a chance, retreating with his back to the wall. He knew what they would see.

He's got the moves down, but the vessel itself is a bit weary—though still able to take the beating. Generally speaking, he hadn't set some arbitrary date to confess to Jack fucking Abbot that he's not only in love with him but they should give this whole relationship thing a chance.

The heat is overwhelming once back in the car, but Kevin bears it only for the shivering form in the backseat. He keeps an eye on him, glancing into the rearview as often as he can while maintaining safety as he drives, but Peralta never notices. Raymond's coat is almost comically large on him—the sleeves hanging over his palms and the shoulders too wide for the young man's smaller frame. It would be reminiscent of a little boy playing dress up in his dad's clothing if it weren't for the fact that Peralta is not only an adult, but one that they had found near frozen on a bench in the middle of the night. His head is down, wet hair dripping rivulets onto his face, and his arms are wrapped tightly around his body like a lonely hug.
It's such a pitiful sight that Kevin feels something inside of him crack. Raymond's hand, still a little cold from being outside, slips into his and squeezes.
“You know,” Peralta's voice cuts through the silence of the car, “my dad showed up again.”Or
Jake's dad returns and causes an upheaval in his life that no one is sure he can come back from.
