Summary

When they overhear an exchange between Mommy and Bunzo and inadvertedly save the rabbit's life through sheer nosiness, he decides to repay the favor by adhering to their side like the world's noisiest little leech. An unlikely friendship is formed, a matriarch is toppled and a multitude of secrets are uncovered in the collapsed toy empire.(In a nutshell: Poppy Playtime, but if (Y/N) was more compassionate than sensible and Bunzo had a personality beyond that of a murderous Jolly Chimp.)

Summary
After the factory collapses, the bits and pieces that remain of Doey find themselves carried through pipes and underground rivers until he eventually ends up in an unassuming creek bed. The sound of an argument wakes him from his semi-conscious state and he steps in to help you fend off a rude neighbor.
It's a second chance for Doey, and he doesn't want to squander it. He'll be your protector, your helper, whatever you need. He knows the truth of what happened to him would break your heart. Maybe Poppy had a point about it staying buried and forgotten forever.
Meanwhile, you can't help but wonder what happened to the poor, sweet guy to make him think he's so unworthy.

Ohhh this was adorable. It's a very interesting potential insecurity for Ennui to delve into, and of course the yuri was delightfully fluffy. Great characterization for the both of them!

He's so fucking infuriating (and unfortunately also kind of hot). Seriously nothing describes the boundless burning primal rage his writing is making me feel inside which, I should add, is a compliment. Poor Ragatha though
