When the road has only ever gone one direction, there's not much of a reason to look any other way. It's predetermined, stars aligned just right type bullshit.
But when you get to that first split in the road, where two paths divide at the fork, it all boils down to one singular point, two possible outcomes, and a lifetime of regret.

It's not just one decision that sent the Z-Team to a cell, or the likes of Track-Star, Mecha-Man, and Blonde Blazer to the limelight of flashing cameras and corporate hell.

Summary
Later in the evening following Shroud’s defeat, Robert and Courtney grab tacos for dinner. Then get up to a bunch of other wholesome activities like meeting the Z team for celebratory drinks and fucking. Things get a little domestic. Mecha Man takes his place at the head of the Z team while the last vestiges of the Red Ring accept a dangerous offer for a chance at revenge. Malevola confronts her past. Visi pushes herself to be more. Robert tries to solve a mystery. Golem learns painful truths.
Post-Canon Epilogue to help cope until s2 formerly titled “embarassing” because it started as a 1shot fluff scene of the same name and morphed into more of my interpretation of the post-canon story.
It’s gotten a bit out of hand with the world building but it’s a lot of fun to write.
