“James.”
It was almost a breath. James looked awful. His nose was bleeding, his hair a mess. He was wearing the same suit as yesterday, only without a jacket and tie, and the shirt was torn and rumpled. It was missing a few buttons and sported a big red stain. He was slumped over in one of Lou’s chairs, only barely looking up when he spoke.
“...D’tective.”
Lou scanned the rest of the room, but nothing else looked out of place.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, suspicions still high.
“‘m sorry,” James’ speech was slurred, “Didn’t know where else t’ go…”

Detective Lou tells James to leave, but that's easier said than done. James is badly hurt when he tries, and goes to Lou for help.

A short and sweet little one-shot in which Bruce is sick and can't sleep, and Thor is a concerned boyfriend who wants to help.
“You’re such a blanket hog” mumbled a tired Thor, rolling over to wrap an arm around his cozy companion. At some point during his restless tossing and turning, the smaller man had managed to swaddle himself in the entirety of their fluffy gray comforter, turning himself into the equivalent of a human burrito.
Bruce groaned, rolling over to encompass Thor with him in the mass of sheets. “Sorry, did I wake you?”
The god chuckled softly, the motion sending shivers from where his chin settled atop Bruce’s soft curls.
“Its okay. Still can’t sleep?” Thor asked worriedly.
“No. I thought it was just allergies, but I think I might actually be getting sick.” the scientist sniffled.

After a Hulk-out, Bruce's skin glows in the dark. Thor wonders what the colours mean.
'So what do the colours mean?' asks Clint.
Bruce laughs softly. 'They don't mean anything.' His orange shifts to pink as he glances at Thor. 'Blood chemicals, maybe. I've never had the chance to properly study it.'
Under the table, Thor places a comforting hand on Bruce's knee without looking at him. Out of the corner of his eye, Bruce turns bright yellow, then back to pink, and settles on purple.

“A lady? No-,” Thor begins. And he really wishes he brought Bruce with him because suddenly he feels incredibly out of his depth as the host pushes onward. Fighting the goddess of death? Easy. Taking the full brunt of a star? Piece of cake. Destroying Thanos and restoring half of the universe? Slightly more complicated but still firmly within in his comfort zone. Getting interviewed by a talk show host? Apparently far more complicated than he imagined.
