Kaveh pays his rent with his body, never realizing that every touch only deepens the feelings he thinks he’s not allowed to have. Alhaitham takes what Kaveh offers, quietly aching for more—until exhaustion and heartbreak finally force them to face the truth they’ve both been running from.
Kaveh held Alhaitham's face and kissed his jaw. "What can I say? I'm just desperate to pay all of my debts today." His fingers hooked into Alhaitham’s shirt, tugging him closer before the scribe could even question what he just said. Kaveh’s breath brushed against his neck, needy and raw. “Tell me you want me,” he whispered. “Tell me you need me as badly as I need you right now.”
"I always need you.”
“What?” Kaveh asked, not hearing what he said properly.
“N–nothing,” Alhaitham coughed out, ears burning. “I said… let’s have sex.”

Summary
After averting the tragedy of the world, Phainon leaves Okhema. He's the Deliverer, the hero of the world, everyone's savior.
Well, he was.…He's done with that, now. The world is saved. There's no more reason for him to stay. No fate left to deliver. Nothing left they need him for.
So, Phainon packs.
He debates leaving a note about his departure, but, ultimately, decides against it.
No one will miss him. Who could miss a man who was only a mask?He's fulfilled his purpose here, and now it's time for him to leave.
Phainon is tired. He's spent a lifetime living a lie, playing the role of fate, and now that the mask has fallen away,there's nothing left to save.
So, Phainon leaves before Entry Hour and he does not look back.

Summary
In Alhaitham’s room, there is a box. It is made of dark polished ebony wood with golden decorations made of metal and it is locked. It sits atop of a tall bookshelf made of the same wood, pushed back so far that someone who doesn’t have a sense of observation as good as Kaveh’s wouldn’t notice it.

Summary
Kaveh loved flowers. They had such a simple existence, beautiful, fragrant, meaningful. Suffocating on them made him smile, because Padisarahs borne from his love is the most poetic way to end a creative one's life. Ideals after all, is one he chases without reprieve. Flowers in his lungs only symbolize that he has loved so beautifully that it simply must be his last.

Summary
Kaveh moves out. Alhaitham doesn't take it well.
Alhaitham looks rough. He doesn’t appear to have slept properly in weeks. It surely doesn’t have anything to do with Kaveh, but a small vindictive part of him wants to see Alhaitham doing poorly in his absence. His face appears more gaunt than usual; his eyes are hollow.
The first thing Alhaitham says to him is, “Hello, Kaveh. How are the rats treating you? Better than I did, I hope.”
Kaveh narrows his eyes. Trust Alhaitham to know the only place Kaveh could afford would be infested with rats. “The rats are certainly easier to get along with,” he retorts.

Summary
On the surface, Alhaitham is not the kind of person people would think to enjoy art. He seems logical, and rational. Though his Darshan is arguably more humanistic than others, he still enjoys the logic of it all.
Yet, he goes to many museums and lets Kaveh frame his work on their walls. Walls, which Alhaitham sometimes paints on. Strokes of colour; lines which sometimes run rough; paint that drips from the excess.
It’s cathartic.

Summary
Kaveh has many tendencies that are just fundamentally different from the way Alhaitham sees things. It's not that Alhaitham doesn't understand, but he simply doesn't agree.
The way he throws his entire heart into the most trivial of things, fully knowing he'll be battered and broken by the time he discovers things weren't as beautiful as he hoped. The way he keeps doing this, despite knowing the risks. The way he won't even consider a single word of advice Alhaitham gives him, just because of its source.
He tries to place himself in the other man's shoes sometimes, but their interpretations of the important things in life are simply so different, all it amounts to are misunderstandings and slammed doors.
Alhaitham is just trying to help. Kaveh might not believe him when he says this, but he doesn't like to see Kaveh suffer.

OR: Kaveh gets his dreams crushed by a rude old man and Alhaitham is just trying to keep him from getting hurt too much.
