Summary

Summary
Five months ago, the turtles survived their first true encounter with the Shredder. Beaten to within inches of their lives, and Leonardo's own teetering on the edge, they retreat to a farmhouse in Massachusetts. The farm, owned by their new and uneasy ally Casey Jones, is their only refuge from the Shredder, who believes them beaten.
And maybe he's right.
With their sensei missing, without any explanation, and Leonardo's condition critical, Donatello reminisces about how they got here.

Indefinite Hiatus - Explanation in Recent Update
“We do not know of your brothers, Great Spirit,” Zuko answered, stuttering more like it. “I’m sorry we could not be of more service.”
The spirit frowned and stood up. “That’s weird, we were just together.”
There was a shift and Uncle’s head came up. They stared at this strange spirit. It turned its back to them and Zuko was breathless at the show of disregard. Figures a spirit would not consider him a threat. He shouldn’t take it personally, but he’s been dismissed his whole life. He’s tired of it. A hand gripped his trembling one and he takes a breath. There is no use getting upset over the ways of a spirit. They both studied its small form and Zuko was caught by its profile. The spirit’s back held three repeating and somewhat glowing symbols. It curved in a familiar motion.
“A turtle,” Uncle whispered.

Summary
The Champions of Hyrule knew that their battle would be intense. For this reason, they brought with them on their journeys seconds - another team of highly skilled warriors of Hyrule. These four Secondary Champions - a Sheikah assassin, a Rito sharpshooter, an Anubin prince, and a Guardian engineer - were tasked with keeping the Champions safe, and taking up their mantle should they fall.
And fall they did. Every one of them, when the Calamity came, fell to their deaths. In the last moments of the attack, they were rushed to the Shrine of Resurrection. No one knew it if would work.
One hundred years later, they awaken. No memories. No direction. Very little of the Hyrule they no longer remember left to spark their thoughts. Will they regain themselves in time to prevent the past from repeating?

Summary
While this story has a place in my fic universe, it is one that I wrote a while ago and fits between "Afterburn" and "Into the Blue". The events of 9/11 changed so many things for the people of Manhattan. I wondered what the Gargoyles would have done, waking up from their stone sleep to see the horrific aftermath of that day.
