Summary
Lance looked up at him, and the soft smile Keith gave him, so kind and gorgeous, and so him, and Lance lost it. The sobbed ripped through him, and he fell forward, hands pressing into his eyes. It was too much. Having to see Keith, feel him as he wrapped his arms around Lance in an effort to comfort him. He didn't know what he did to deserve this.
Of course, with Lance's infinite luck, Keith, his rival, his teammate, and the love of his life, would be a ghost he has to convince is dead.
Lance was born with the gift of seeing ghosts. War turns his gift into a curse.

Keith gets a blessed 30 seconds where the only sound is his sword slashing through shrubbery before Lance decides to start up again. "You know what I don't understand?" He asks, his words drenched in incredulity.
"The desire for peace and quiet." Keith vaults over what he assumes is the equivalent of a fallen tree on this planet.
Lance ignores his response. "Why you came back so small and fragile and weak."
"Clearly, because I'm not whoever you think I am."
Or: Altean Lance holds a grudge against Human Keith for what he did in another lifetime as a Galran. Every time they enter their lions together, the lions replay old memories. Keith finds out more and more who Lance was to him and what exactly Keith did to make Lance hate him.

“Right…”
“You do know what ‘temporal’ means, right?”
After a beat, Lance replied with a long “Oooh.” as realization struck him. Before he could say anything else, the green paladin stepped forward.
“Temporal anomaly? So you guys are us from another time?” She seemed overly excited about that idea, and Lance couldn’t help but grin at her.
“That, my dear baby Pidgeon, is exactly what we’re thinking.”

G’raha Tia slipped out just enough to bask in her glory.
