But he had taken on jobs with no experience before, so it shouldn’t be so hard… Right?Meanwhile, one Jonathan Sims struggles as a sudden promotion has made him Head Librarian, shortly after his transfer to Pelican Town. His predecessor has fled, the display shelves are empty, and the library is in disarray… And oh, apparently there’s a new farmer in the valley and the townsfolk won’t shut up about him.

Martin had always been favored by the summer courts, and moving up north to the little village of Lacuna is a difficult adjustment. It's rainy and lonely and everyone seems to have a strange, distant relationship with the local faerie court.
However: there is a strange man in a cloak who walks past Martin's remote little cottage every few days.
However: there is a moth that keeps getting stuck in Martin's house during the rain.

Tim handed Martin a mug filled halfway with the cheap, pink wine and he thanked him politely, taking a sip and wondering if there were any alcohol in it at all. There was silence for a few moments, though not an uncomfortable one, before Tim spoke again, grinning as he put his mug on the floor.
"Martin?" he asked, "Are you sure you can't tell me who you have a crush on?"
At this, Martin narrowed his eyes, elbowing Tim in the ribs and downing half of his drink. "Come on, Tim," he said sharply, "I thought we'd dropped this last week."
