Summary
A great source of despair draws Nightmare to an abandoned AU. There he finds an unfinished Sans with no name, no companions, no purpose, no world, and a soul. Nightmare gives him the option to get out of his abandoned, empty world. He accepts the offer but refuses to destroy anything or hurt people. Instead he finds another purpose. In return the Bad Sanses give him a home, companions, a life, and a name. They call him Ink.
Or: Before he can destroy his soul and enter the Doodle Sphere, Ink is recruited by Nightmare. He accepts his role as best he can, even if he sometimes feels like he is meant for something more.

Fanfic summary:
A little Fanfic making an au that kinda based off of if Super Mario Paper Jam was tied in with Super Paper Mario. The Gist is that every character is linked to their Paper counterpart, and that after the end of Super Paper Mario Mr. L stayed within Luigi and would basically stick around in the sense we imagine Chara from undertale does for Frisk. When RPG Luigi meets Paper Luigi, he also gets. Mr L of his own, and this causes some problems.
