Two years after the meteor destroys most of Midgar, Cloud tries to live peacefully with his mate Barret and their daughter Marlene in the newly built city of Edge. Problems arise when a fatal "geostigma" epidemic starts killing off the citizens of Edge. Cloud tries to hide his own infection from his family and friends, but ends up running away from home to live out the rest of his days in isolation when the symptoms become noticeable to hide. Meanwhile, a certain ghost from Cloud's past is lurking in the shadows, and three people who look like doppelgangers of his dead rival claim that Cloud is their “mother."

Orion loves visiting Kaon to see the gladiators fight; but not so much for the fighting...
More so for the after-parties.There are few gladiators in Kaon that he hasn't swooned one way or another; somewhere down the line of his mundane life as Archivist this became his main form of entertainment. Wrapping the gladiators around his digit, seeing who he could bend to his will and who he could score a night with.
