Summary
“The best way for me to explain it would be this. It wasn’t really until I met you, or really until I got to know you well, after I came to Pittsburgh, that I began to understand what it means to be a Jew. To think like a Jew. To see the world through Jewish eyes. But once I did, I realized that lens, that world view, looked and felt familiar. Like eerily familiar. It felt a lot like mine. It’s like it took me forty-some years to figure out who I always was, but now that I have, it feels right.”
Robby’s eyes widened in recognition. “It’s like coming out.”
“Kind of. Or like coming home. Maybe a bit of both.”
In the wake of Dr. Adamson's death, Robby is starting to attend synagogue again, while Jack has immersed himself in studying Jewish traditions as he prepares to convert, embracing a faith he never knew much about growing up but which he’s now certain is his spiritual home. As Jack readies himself for the final stages of the conversion process, Robby is leery of his husband submitting to the rite of brit milah. The ninth story in the “After the Storm” series.

Summary
Instead of the normal boxers Jack is expecting, he’s met with Robby wearing black shorts with lacy trim at the edges, being slightly eaten up by his thighs.
And it very quickly becomes clear that’s not the only thing different—the bulge Jack is ultra familiar with is absent from the front of Robby’s shorts, and the way they’re riding up and into Robby’s crotch shows what’s different.
Any and all coherent thought flies out of Jack’s head.

Summary
A challenge set by the author, for the author, to break out of writer's block. Fics are rough and barely edited, not beta'd, and are meant to be more of a creative exercise than a showcase of literary prowess. But the love of Springsteen is real and serious. Each individual fic is based on lyrics and/or vibes from a specific song, and may be expanded on in the future.

Summary
Darnell nodded, glancing over Robby like he was trying to place him in the hierarchy of important to ignorable and it could go either way. "What's this?"
"MSF FNG," Jack shot back. Whatever that meant, he sounded amused.
Darnell scoffed and looked to Robby, expression going decidedly unimpressed. "Oh, yeah? You here to find yourself? Have an adventure? Do something hard?" he asked, each question more mocking than the last.
And there was that question again, like it was haunting Robby. He stifled his instinct to bite back and kept it simple: "I'm here to help."
