Summary
A clunky cargo ship made it's lonely travel through space. It's thrusters shook and popped, jutting off the back of the squarish main body, somewhat resembling fins on a fish. This was idea was only reenforced by the sloped and jutting top fin, followed by a blinking light attached to a thin, flexible wire.
Inside the ship, it was cramped, most of the floor space taken up by large crates, piled on one another like children's blocks. Several cardboard boxes were throw in around the edges, listing and crumpled at the corners.
Three figures sat in the seats, each adorned in a colorful spacesuit, well, all but the last. yellow and pink suits shared the row of seats on the left hand wall, and a black suit sat by themselves in the back, under the yawning faux window, pale face lit sporadically with the flickering passage of stars.
...
Ezra longs for an escape, and she thinks she finds it with the skeld, until it all starts to go wrong.
Will her newly forged friendships survive?
Only time will tell.

I am essentially making up my own lore, because I have problems with the actual canon. Also, this makes it more interesting for anyone who reads a lot of playtime fics.
None of the toys were ever a human, I have my own way of them being alive (no spoilers) but trust me, it is just as problematic as normal, lol.
Not beta read, the MC is indeed a toy.

Summary
this is a series of short, dst related stories, mostly of just random scenes, or headcannons i have. also i will be writing about my fancharacters, of which i currently have two. i decided to start doing this, simply because i am starting to realize that i don't seem to have the ability to write proper long, multi chapter storys. i always get about eight or so chapters in, then decide i don't like it any more, and rewrite the whole thing. vastly annoying, so i've decided to try this. hopefully it goes well, and this doesn't join my list of unfinished works. though i suppose it wouldn't matter, as long as i finish the current story. also, these shorts have no relation to my other two dst stories, i consider those too old to build off of.
