This is a fairy tale gone wrong.
Shang Qinghua is the seventh child of a not so wealthy merchant family, naive and romantic. Count Mobei is the third child of the Old Duke, used to mistrust everyone. They meet in a snowy winter forest, and Shang Qinghua saves Count Mobei from an ambush. And then the Count proposes to him.
But is this really love?The non-con mention is related to the arranged marriage and wrong mutual expectations, rather than to rape.
The violence warning is about some bones and severed limbs of non-essential characters in later chapters. If you read the original, you should be fine with it.The names of the original characters are left intact and Chinese, but the world around them is vaguely Medieval Europe. So they have tunics, knights, magic instead of cultivation, the Church and, well, even noble demon lords.

Dokja thought it was his sleep paralysis demon coming to finish what his father started, laying on the floor, breathing through his mouth as he chokes on the blood sliding down his mouth, and dripping from his nose in a small puddle.
“Kim Dokja,” he whispered, kneeling before his battered form, eyes wide and hand hovering over him. Kim Dokja was busy trying to figure out if the demon that haunts him just became real or if God sent down his scariest angel just to torment him a little longer.
The man touches his cheek, couldn’t flinch if Dokja wanted to, his hands are cool. Dokja preferred it that way, his mother’s hands are cold, and his father’s hands are hot iron of hell fury— taking it out on any living being in the vicinity.
