Summary
It wasn’t that Jiang Cheng hadn’t liked Nie Huaisang well enough, when they were all learning together in the Cloud Recesses. Anyone who had the energy to keep up with Wei Wuxian – and just enough good sense to help veer him off the really bad ideas, even if he did keep egging him on in regards to the medium-grade bad ones – was good news in his books.
But liking him didn’t mean respecting him, and the fact that Nie Huaisang hadn’t participated much in the war – couldn’t participate much – had led Jiang Cheng to discount him more or less entirely.
That’s what made it all the more surprising when Nie Huaisang ended up being the unofficial leader of the three remaining Great Sects in opposing Jin Guangshan after the war.

“What?” Nie Huaisang blinked at him with pretend innocence. “Wei-xiong, why would you say such a thing?”
“Do you think I’m an idiot? Do you think shijie is an idiot?” Wei Wuxian continued. “I mean, what you’re doing is so blatant that Jin Zixuan noticed, and he is an idiot. So let’s try this again, Nie-xiong – are you trying to steal my shijie and marry her off to your brother?”
“I sure am,” Nie Huaisang said cheerfully. “I mean, who would you rather have to sit with at family dinners, me or Jin Zixun?”

Summary
Jiang Cheng wrote three times a year for over a decade and a half requesting that Lan Sizhui come and visit. If Odin truly sees Thor and Loki as equal, they ought to face equal punishment for equal crimes. Thor's suggestion is granted and Loki is stripped of his powers as he is banished to Midgard where he has to either prove himself worthy or spend the rest of his life on earth without any special powers.
Loki though is not so easily broken. He might not have magic nor supernatural strength.
But he still has his wits, his gift of deception, his knowledge, and his basic skills as a fighter.
