His breathing was audible, pained, crazed. Something dark and ugly reared up inside him, he had all this power, this ability that he’d been holding back, restraining for so long. It flowed out of him, as easily as if it were breathing.
They couldn’t move, couldn’t talk, couldn’t do anything unless he let them.
They were at his mercy.

“Etho forgets I’m the admin of this server,” he hummed, “I could literally just teleport us out of here, or erase this block out of existence.”
His eyes began to get this far away look in them, turning to dark voids filled with millions of tiny stars.
Bdubs recognized this to mean that Grian was currently in admin mode, staring at the world code rather than the world itself.
“Wait, Grian,” Bdubs called, reaching out a hand to grab him before he could stop himself.
Grian’s eyes returned to normal and he looked down at Bdubs, confused.
Bdubs hesitated for a moment, steeling his nerves, “do we—have to get out right now?” He asked, “I don’t mind sitting here with you for a bit.”
Or: What if Etho's trick did work, and Bdubs and Grian ended up having a (long overdue) conversation while trapped in the hole?

Summary
So I was going through Hermitcraft fics, and I made the executive decision that we didn't have enough fics that were fluff. Now, while I love reading all the angst-filled fics that pull at my heartstrings, I don't always want to cry. Sometimes I just want my silly little hermits being silly little guys.
I'm assuming (hoping) that I'm not the only one, so that's what this is. It started as one fic, but then I decided that I wanted it to be a series instead.
Sidenote: They also have powers, and it's technically a superhero AU but we don't talk about that. We just enjoy their interactions.

Religion isn't a common thing across the Severs, but with the wide range of backgrounds the Hermits come from, Xisuma is sure they each have their own beliefs. He doesn't think it's that uncommon to follow a god, certainly not worth the look of terror on Grian's face when Xisuma explains that his patron is a Watcher named Xelqua.

Joel’s eye twitches. “You better not eat any more of my base, Tango!”
“What are you gonna do about it?” He begins breaking the deepslate next to him. Joel steps forward, effectively trapping Tango in the corner. The two are about the same height, Tango just barely taller than Joel, making direct eye contact as Joel encroaches on his personal space.
Grinning even wider, Tango picks up the deepslate without looking away. “It just looks so tasty!”
