They couldn’t move, couldn’t talk, couldn’t do anything unless he let them.
They were at his mercy.
It was exhilarating.

His eyes began to get this far away look in them, turning to dark voids filled with millions of tiny stars.
Bdubs recognized this to mean that Grian was currently in admin mode, staring at the world code rather than the world itself.
“Wait, Grian,” Bdubs called, reaching out a hand to grab him before he could stop himself.
Grian’s eyes returned to normal and he looked down at Bdubs, confused.
Bdubs hesitated for a moment, steeling his nerves, “do we—have to get out right now?” He asked, “I don’t mind sitting here with you for a bit.”
Or: What if Etho's trick did work, and Bdubs and Grian ended up having a (long overdue) conversation while trapped in the hole?

Broken into a million pieces all because Jimmy hadn’t bothered to look where he was going. Had gotten so caught up in his phone and his plans that he’d walked straight into the table and knocked it off.
He felt tears fill his eyes and he stared down at the mess. He was so stupid, he was useless, he couldn’t do anything right.
He couldn’t even bother to look where he was going. This was so easily avoidable, this never would’ve happened if Jimmy had just bothered to use his brain for just a second.
This wouldn’t have happened if he’d been anyone else. Anyone else wouldn’t have been stupid enough for this to happen.

If you do, your team is disqualified—” he paused for a moment, making sure he remembered everything, “Don’t get overly competitive—”
“Joel.” Tango hummed with an overexaggerated cough that did nothing to cover it up. Joel stuck his tongue out at him.
“—but do give it your best shot, no matter how bad that shot may be—”
“Skizz…” Gem coughed, also making no effort to cover her words with it. Skizz sent her a half hearted glare which she returned with an innocent smile.
“—and most importantly,” He looked at each of them, suddenly growing very serious, “Anything said and done during the game is unserious and not personal, we will go into this as friends, and we will come out of it as friends. No grudges or rivalries. Does everyone understand?”

Joel couldn’t help the grin on his face, though his mask was on, so she wouldn’t see it, “Yes.”
