Summary
Albus Dumbledore is exceptional, a child prodigy, adorned with prizes, praise, and the steady rise to fame. But he’s also lonely, now more than ever as his dreams to see the world are taken away and he's trapped in the dull, tiny town of Godric’s Hollow. His only company is the siblings in his care and the books on his shelf. Until he meets Gellert. Gellert is exceptional, a child prodigy, a genius. But he's bored and angry, kicked out of school and sent away from home in hopes his aunt will be able to coddle him back to the good boy he'd never really been.
Albus and Gellert have both spent so long living in a world no one else understood, and Gellert shows Albus how much more there is to life when that's embraced, not run from. Gellert, with his visions, his ideas of revolution, his pretty eyes, might be exactly what Albus needs to escape. And Albus, with his brilliance, sweet disposition, and maddening soul is exactly what Gellert needs to be set free.

Summary
September 1898: Gellert Grindelwald, einst Schüler auf Durmstrang, wechselt für seine letzten beiden Schuljahre an die Schule für Hexerei und Zauberei - Hogwarts. Dort ist er auf der Suche nach Antworten und nach Menschen, die bereit sind, ihm im Sinne seiner Ideen zu dienen und zu folgen.
Sein Ehrgeiz erreicht neue Ausmaße, als Schulleiter Professor Phineas Nigellus Black das Trimagische Turnier ankündigt, denn Gellert sieht darin die Möglichkeit, die Bekanntheit und Anerkennung zu erlangen, die er braucht, um seinem Ziel einer gerechteren Welt näherzukommen.
Doch dazu muss er erst einmal an Albus Dumbledore vorbei - dem beliebten Schulsprecher aus dem Siebten Jahr, den alle Welt zu bewundern scheint. Dessen Charme sieht Gellert jedoch bald als Chance, um Gefolge um sich zu scharen. Nur vergisst er dabei, dass auch er Gefühle hat, die ihm im Wege stehen könnten...--------------------------------------------------

Albus Dumbledore dies at 115, killed by Severus Snape as planned. He wakes up at eighteen, wrapped in Gellert Grindelwald's arms in a half-timbered house in Germany, and thinks he's been granted heaven.
Then he gets hungry.It's the summer of 1899. Ariana is still alive. Gellert hasn't yet become the darkest wizard of the age. And Albus has weeks—maybe—to change everything that went wrong the first time.
