"Dadza!" Wilbur cheers, holding his arms out. "Hey, mate." Phil chuckles, accepting the hug. Wilbur, being Wilbur, squeezes him. Tommy, standing off to the side, is surprised when Phil grunts.
"You're squishing me, Wil." Phil says, and Wilbur loosens his hold slightly before pulling back completely.
"Sorry." Wilbur chirps, not sounding sorry at all. "That was barely even a bear hug." Tommy points out, confused. Phil raises an eyebrow. "Do you want your bones broken?" He challenges, and Tommy shrugs. Wilbur hugs have yet to break his bones, so he'll probably be fine.
Wilbur grins, beckoning Tommy closer.
Or; Tommy is used to Wilbur's extremely tight and strong hugs. Other people are not.

By the time Wilbur actually comes to look for him the water has become uncomfortably cold, but Tommy is too tired to do anything about it.
"Tommy." Wilbur sighs, staring down at him with his hands on his hips. Tommy glares at him half heartedly before closing his eyes again, resting his cheek against the inside of the sink.
Wilbur picks him up by the scruff of the neck, hefting him out of the water. Tommy lets out a disgruntled meow when he's picked up, but it comes out as more of a squeak.
The noise of protest is disregarded, Wilbur wrapping him up in a small towel and laying him on his back, cradled in the crook of the man's arm.
Or; Tommy isn't like other cats, and loves baths. Wilbur decidedly does not.

Summary
Muzzles were actually good for dogs. Tommy learned that a while ago, from when he was left with a relatively kind family for a couple months.
They also fostered a couple dogs and worked really hard on training. Sometimes Tommy caught them doing the same tactics with him, so he knew they only fostered the were-child because they thought it’d be the same as owning a dog, but at least they still treated him sort of person-like, not like the other house, much later.
Tommy also had a muzzle. But, even when he was a wolf, much more prone to diving into his wolf side rather than listen to the person side, he still didn’t like wearing a muzzle.
Or, Tommy is a troubled, werewolf foster kid and, really, the worst place for him to be is alone in the woods with a house of vampires. Right?

Set in a slightly divergent timeline in which Tommy ran to Sam's and Sam is also a naga, this is a teeny(except not really) one-shot focused on Tommy's recovery post exile after his time being abused by a(n also a naga) cruel and obsessive c!Dream. It's angst with fluff and a rather disturbing snake-on-snake violence fight scene. It's got funky snake man stuff, soft Tommy being traumatized stuff, lots of Awesamdad for the soul, and a big ol' healthy dose of c!Dream getting his shit kicked in. Because we love that here
