Will frowned, “I hope it’s not,” he said, “I don’t like anybody we know enough to marry them — except our friends, obviously, but that’s different.”
Hugo, if it was even possible, looked somehow immensely more excited by these words, “I can’t tell you who it is,” he giggled, “That’s a really big spoiler.”
Mike Wheeler’s son arrives in Hawkins with no explanation, snapped back in time entirely by accident — and he latches on to none other than Will Byers. If only they all knew why.

Summary
Will’s brain basically short-circuits. He doesn't even need to turn around to know who it is. Even after six years of radio silence, his body still possesses this fucked-up muscle memory when it comes to Mike Wheeler.
He forces himself to look up.
And fuck. It is Mike. Standing right there just inside the patio.
He’s taller than Will remembers, which is saying something. The gangly and slightly awkward teenager Will had spent years trying to scrub from his memory is completely gone. His dark hair is longer from last he saw him, curling damply against his neck from the autumn drizzle outside. There’s a permanent shadow of stubble along his jawline, totally erasing any lingering softness from when they were kids. It’s almost unfair how strikingly handsome he got.
The worst part, though, is his eyes. They lock directly onto Will’s, blown wide with shock.
OR Will spent years trying to freeze Mike out of his system. But as they stand together in the empty, 4 AM chill of the rink, crushed under the heavy weight of Mike's unwavering stare, Will realizes the ice isn't the thing that's going to destroy him this time.

Summary
Mike Wheeler has been suffering from depression and panic attacks after his best friend Will Byers moved to New York to go to college. After one especially hard evening when Mike, acting out of pure frustration and being sick of living or actually not really living at all, tried to take his own life is when his mom Karen Wheeler called Will for help because she was out of options and at a loss of how to help her son. Will moves to the Wheeler's house to help Mike, and in the span of the next months they spend together again, Mike begins to explain his feelings and realizations that have led him to the state he is currently in.

Mike is deppressed and sad, Will comes to rescue him, making them talk again after one and a half years of Will being away.

And then the universe brings them back together.
Has too much changed? Has not enough changed? But most importantly, have they left their horror story too find themselves in a romcom instead?

Summary
This is a Harry Potter retelling. It follows the story of Harry Potter; however, he is raised by Remus Lupin rather than the Dursleys. This is a Wolfstar fanfic (so things will get very interesting during the third year).
If you have not read "All the Young Dudes" by Ms.KingBean89, I recommend reading that fic until Sirius goes to Azkaban, because this fic uses that as canon backstory for the marauders.
The major events of Harry Potter remain the same, but it is still a retelling and not technically canon compliant.
I don't own any of these characters, they all belong to JK Rowling.
If anyone wants to make art of this fic you have full permission to do so!
