Summary
New had never expected to see his brother again. He’d never expected to find him alive, and even if he’d discovered what happened to him, he’d never thought there would be a body left to find and burn. No ashes to place with their parents at the shrine or to leave merits for. No one to hear his shameful apologies.
But Non is alive. Alive and seemingly happy, happier than New has ever seen him. Happy with one of the men who’d made his life miserable in school. One of the people New had planned to see dead in retribution for the loss of Non.
It takes him months to not startle internally every time he sees Non sitting downstairs on the couch or at the kitchen table every morning. To not sneak looks at him throughout the day as he tended his little garden or hung out with his boyfriends or their friends.
Non is alive. And he’s happy. And New suddenly doesn’t know why he’s still here. His brother clearly doesn’t need him anymore, and New isn’t even sure Non wants him here.

Summary
Sometimes, it’s hard for Moo to believe he’s really getting everything he’s ever wanted.
They won’t debut for a while, but he, Tae, and Payos are officially idol trainees, with the condition (from Moo’s mom, who hadn’t taken them on herself to avoid the appearance of nepotism, but who was still working closely with their actual manager) that they all attend university and keep their grades up.
He has Kang, who might actually be at least a million times better than any idol contract (don’t tell Tae), and Kang had gotten into his own university in Bangkok. It was an arts school, specifically, one close enough to Moo’s university that their moms had put their heads together and decided they not only could but should live together, so that ‘Kang can keep Moo on track with his studies, and Moo can keep Kang from digging his head too deeply into a sketchbook and never coming out again.’
So now he has an apartment with his amazing, talented, hot as heck boyfriend, he’s going to university with his best friends, and he just found out that it’s the same university P’Rain goes to!

Summary
Today, they’re trying something new.
The crate, large and looming, has been in the background of nearly every encounter they’ve had so far. Pete is always at least somewhat aware of it when he first comes into Vegas’s bedroom, even if Vegas is trying to distract him. For a while, he thinks maybe that is its sole purpose, to make Pete nervous with sweaty palms.
But then, this morning, a text: I want to lock you up. Put you away until I’m ready to use you, keep you secure and safe, right where I want you.
And Pete had, of course, said yes, because how was he meant to resist that?

At first, Sky thinks it’s a wrong number. He tells them so, and goes about his day, unbothered.
But then more texts start to roll in.
He won’t ever love you. How could he?
That one had stung. Sky doesn’t know who’s on the other end of the line but he has a dark, sinking suspicion it’s Gun. Sky changed his number after he’d finally left. He’d moved out of his uncle’s place and into his dorm. He’d created new social media accounts.
He shouldn’t be surprised though, that Gun has found him again. That he’s for some reason decided Sky is a fun toy to play with after so many months of silence.
He’s using you just as much as you’re using him. He’ll get bored soon enough.

That pings some red flags in Prapai’s mind, but it’s not like body image issues are unheard of. His instinct is to argue, to show the Omega what it’s like to be worshiped properly, to chase away those insecurities with his tongue.
But he’s not stupid. He knows that will only make things worse, so he nods instead. “Anything you want,” he promises. “But… can we lose this?” he fingers the knot at the side of the scarf. “I won’t bite. I just want to scent you.”
The Omega– and god, Prapai really needs to get his name– hesitates, fingers coming up to tease at the edges. “I don’t… It’s a failed bond,” he says, and the scarf suddenly makes perfect sense. “He doesn’t still claim me. I’m not having an affair.”

If he’s honest with himself (and he tries not to be, in this family that way lies only madness), he really thought two kids was quite enough, but Chay had wanted more, and Kim has always had trouble saying no to Chay. Breaking the heart of the one you love tends to do that to a person, makes them overly cautious and eager to prevent any further hurts, no matter how little.
So three. Three, Kim had thought, was certainly enough. Of course, that pregnancy had been twins.
So, four. Four. Four was… a lot. Especially being up all night with twin newborns.
But Chay had batted his pretty little eyes and pouted his pretty lips and made himself look so small and cute even though he was two whole inches taller than Kim…

On occasion, Rain drives Sky a little crazy.
He’s just so blatant in his behaviors. Everyone knows he’s a Little. As far as their peers know, because Sky’s certainly not telling, he’s the only Little in their whole class. It tends to make him the center of attention. He’s constantly getting his hair ruffled, getting asked how he’s feeling that day. Ple has even cut his lunch up for him before, as if Rain is not a grown adult perfectly capable of doing it himself.
Sky doesn’t need that sort of attention, or want it, but it makes him a little nuts that Rain just laps it all up. Rain loves being babied, being fawned over. He spends more time in little space than out of it, even though Sky can’t fathom how he possibly does his homework like that.
Sky hasn’t dropped into little space in six months, and he doesn’t intend to ever again.

Summary
“Easy puppy,” Vegas chides, but his tone is indisputably fond that Pete disregards it. What he doesn’t like is the way Vegas stops sucking on his finger to speak.

“I know.” Vegas flicks his tongue out and down Pete’s finger, pressing his lips against each knuckle, slow and steady. Pete shivers at the attention and he wiggles closer to Vegas, wanting more but not knowing how to ask.

“What a waste of water,” Vegas murmurs, his lips ghosting along Pete’s neck. “Wouldn’t it be better to ask for things, rather than forcing me to prove a point to train you?”
“Fuck you,” Pete snarls, but the words are missing any sort of heat. He’s too on edge from Vegas invading his personal space like this, too wired and strung up and strung out and raw, much too full of desperation for the one thing Vegas is denying him for the swear to have any landing impact.
