The Sunny is anchored just off shore, close enough to see the deck but far enough away that the crew has had to take the Mini Merry to make land. Scattered across the beach in various stages of chaos—rolling around, yelling, fighting—are his crew but not his crew, so similar and yet so, so different. They look younger, fresher, and whatthefuck there, on the deck of the Sunny just peering over the railing, he catches a flash of green—his own green hair—
“Ah, fuck,” he grunts, and then immediately turns back around because no, actually, he does not want to deal with this.

Vash wants to help people however he can, including getting them off, but they never return the favor. Wolfwood changes that.

He knows it was real (why would he still have this stupid lasersword otherwise?) and has one goal: to find Grogu and make sure he’s safe. Who knows, maybe he’ll try to save the galaxy, if it’s convenient. First, he has to figure out what’s going on, but all his long-dead Mandalorian caretaker will tell him is they’re going to visit their ally on a stormy ocean planet.
OR: A time travel fix-it AU starring Din Djarin as he faces the Jedi, the Creed, the Darksaber, and himself. He and his friends, both new and old, take on the task of saving the entire galaxy from the Sith to prevent the Empire’s existence.

“Sir!” comes a shout through the comm buried in his ear, tinny and distorted — the rain has been ruining connections, getting everywhere, making the ground less dirt and more sucking, grabbing, clinging mud that refuses to let go. Multiple vode have lost boots to it by now, even barely 24 hours in. “Sir, the clankers are retreating!”
Not yet, the Force whispers as he rises halfway from his crouch, watching the soldiers surrounding him slowly, carefully advance in the silence between rounds of blasterfire, and he breathes in wetness, trying not to choke on the scent of blood invading his nostrils. He shouldn’t be able to smell it like this, the rain should be washing it away or at least drowning it out, but the Force has been clinging to him not unlike the rain, soaking him to the bone, making him know.
He’s so tired of knowing.

Summary
Then, one day, just like that, the war sputters to a halt.
Supreme Chancellor Palpatine of the Republic and Count Dooku of the Confederation of Independent Systems are found mysteriously dead. But the galaxy remains in turmoil, battle-scarred and divided. Both the Republic and the Separatists struggle for stability and the path to an uneasy peace. The Jedi Order, decimated and despised for their role in the war, seek to turn inward to find healing. And the clones, military property, recalled and stranded high above Coruscant in cramped decommissioned Star Destroyers, await orders and a life-or-death decision from the Senate.
Just what exactly is their purpose now without a war to fight?
