He couldn’t see, the outer edges of his vision blurred and darkened. His breathing only grew ever louder and rapid. Colors didn’t look the same, only a blob of whatever the object used to be. As if a painter messed up on their canvas and gave up. Like a child took a pencil and scribbled over his vision, practically stabbing his eyes. He sounded horrible, and he didn’t know why. He was wheezing to breathe, trying so hard, yet nothing could work. He’d prefer to be stabbed, to tell his younger self that yes, he should’ve died because he would've never had to feel like a broken piece to his own skin. -
