Summary
The thought crossed her mind, briefly, before she departed. The doubting of Lace diligently following orders. The paired worry of Lace getting into trouble, getting hurt, getting torn. But oh-so rare is the occasion Hornet is tracked, by a Citadel princess no less; Lace is a fighter, not a hunter, and Hornet took no precaution.
She thought she’d been clear. Heard.
Or: Hornet abruptly leaves Pharloom. Lace won't be left behind.

Summary
“Mm…” Hornet sighs a grunted hum. The first sign of life.
A fever-heat rips circles through Lace’s stomach like a whirlpool, sucking in all other feelings, churning love into unrecognizable lust. She’d be ashamed if neither were bare, if Hornet wore clothes instead of her own sweat, if Lace saw that sinewy back and somehow tore her eyes. Her legs squeeze impossibly tight.
“These colors do wash you out,” She decides. “Let me.”
Or: Lace finds her spider mid-molt.

Summary
She’s curled in Hornet’s arms, shadowed slightly by Hornet’s silhouette, but still tinted a honey-gold. She sleeps silent as a babe, unknowing of her beauty. Her breaths are the only sound. The rising and falling of her chest, the only thing Hornet’s promised. Lace’s eyelashes flutter amidst a distant dream. Her hair is feathered across the pillow in airy wisps.
Her hair. Hornet lies awake because of Lace’s hair.
Or: Spiders commonly eat silk to reuse the proteins.

Summary
Jinu was in her life for but a moment. A sight she blinked away. A light the shadows took. A chapter of a novel she will never publish, but will instead read to herself late into the night with a reading light clasped atop the pages, with her fingertip hung on each word. Nothing more—but certainly not something less.
Or: Jinu’s soul, separated from his body, speaks to Rumi through her sword. Unfortunately, it also disrupts the Honmoon. Rumi would go to hell and back to save him, to save her role as a Hunter, if she knew.

Summary
“I mean, the real Susie never picked on you, did she? Do you ever wonder why she uhm… ‘spared’ you?” Susie continued.
Noelle sighs dreamily, sinking into herself again, eyes wandering into thought. “All the time…”
“That's because you were kind. Kind to someone who, well, at one point, hated everyone.”A retelling of the scene in Deltarune Chapter 2, with a little more gay.
