“I see you have a new addition to the family,” Bella says, smiling at the group pushing their father along toward the plaza stairs.
“Yeah, we stole him from his backyard,” Jason tells her brightly.
“average billionaire adopts 1000 children a year” factoid actualy just statistical error. average billionaire adopts 0 children per year. Orphans Bruc, who lives in cave & adopts over 1 child each month, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.- Language:

The kids have naturally paired off to follow behind their guardian, except for Jason, who’s somehow clambered onto his father’s back. Bruce hoists him into a proper piggyback, and off the eight of them go: Gotham’s famous father hen and his brood.

Summary
Just after his eleventh birthday, Sam Winchester received a letter dropped off by an owl of all things. Dean Winchester knew two things: First, their dad would absolutely kill a wizard, even if he was family, and second, this Ilvermorny place was not far enough away from their father by any stretch of the imagination.
Harry Potter chose a very important train compartment on his first ride to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There was a small boy sitting alone in the compartment reading, and this boy had on his person three knives and a bottle of holy water. Harry Potter had found his people.
Severus Snape thought he must be extremely unlucky to be the only faculty member at the school who had a muggle landline phone at his summer residence…unlucky, but also so very thankful. Because after countless shocking, concerning, and frankly bizarre calls from one of his students’ guardians each summer, a Dean Winchester, well, Severus’s life was taking on a completely new and welcome direction.

Summary
Harry dies, decades after the second war ends and years into the third. He’s stopped two wars in his time, and if he has to give his life to stop another, well, it’s not like he has much to live for now that his family is gone. He, Draco, Ron, and Hermione go out with a bang, taking their enemy out in the resulting explosion.
But death is not the end.
Harry wakes up in his eleven-year-old body in the Gryffindor common room, staring into the fire, sitting on a carpet that was destroyed years ago. Ron and Hermione wake up with him, memories intact. They have one last chance to right the wrongs that have come from the political war of light vs. dark, and they will fix the Wizarding world if it's the last thing they do.

Summary
They say when you assume you make an ass of you and me.
Matt wishes that the Avenger's assumptions about his seeming inability to read the written word did something as benign as making an ass of him and them. Being called illiterate shouldn't hurt, not when he knows he's not, and it's not like he can tell them the truth.
Not that the truth would make much difference. He's just going to have to grin and bear it.
If he can.

Summary
When what should have been a straight forward mission in Hell's Kitchen goes pear shaped due to lack of communication, teaching his teammates sign language seems like a logical step to Clint. Communication when their comms are down - great plan! And including the local vigilante, who's been working closely with them on this, is a real no-brainer.
Until it turns out said vigilante is an asshole that thinks sign language is beneath him, judging by the way he's stubbornly refusing to learn it.
(Conversely - Matt's trying, he really is but damn it, those two signs are exactly the same... what do you mean they mean completely different things?!)
