Summary

Summary
Things had been improving. Which of course means that due to the fundamentals of all the fuckery in Blitzo life, that meant it had to come to a screeching fucking halt at some point and he felt that point was soon.
It’s a pity that whenever the cogs of normalcy stop spinning, he ends up taking everyone down with him. Intentionally or not.
After the trial, after watching as Stolas’s heart was wrenched from his chest and obliterated in front of everyone. After seeing his relationship with his daughter crumble to nothing.
Well, the open love and compassion Blitzo had bottled up for years came pouring out of him, the intensity of it nearly drowning himself and Stolas in the process. He was worried that the last drops of it would be spilt and he’d revert back to his old bitter self.
That never happened, what did happen however was the overwhelming anxiety and protectiveness culminated into an ugly kind of stress that began to weigh on him. Every little oddity coming from the owl, every sign that screamed Stolas was not coping had him on high alert.
It was setting the both of them on edge.

But Blitz is softer than he's ever been, taking care of his every need, sleeping at his side every night. It should be enough. It should be all he's ever dreamed it could be.

Blitz climbed the island that acted as the only table in the apartment, staring at Stolas. He looked like an overgrown domestic cat, tail whipping as he kneeled over all the paperwork.“Kiss.”
It wasn't a question. It was a demand, and Stolas was more than happy to oblige, smiling as Blitz's lips touched his. It was soft, softer than Blitz usually was. Unguarded, hopeful.
Maybe he could get used to it. Find happiness in that little existence they were building.

Summary

However, it is difficult when all hellborn know that Ex-Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia almost had Blitzø killed for his own crimes. Thankfully, Ozzie provides a disguise for Stolas until things can settle down. As they navigate this new situation together, Blitzø and Stolas also learn how to open up to each other while dealing with the fall out.

Summary

One night, while working a lead at one of Lust’s many clubs, he manages to stop a demon from being drugged—though the culprit escapes.
Still, the night doesn't end in total failure. In his Imp form, Oz gets blackout drunk... and wakes up next to the same cute Imp he saved.
Weeks pass. Oz lets the one-night stand fade into the background, refocusing on his mission and assuming he'll never see the guy again.
He’s wrong.
Because soon, a manila envelope marked with a pink label from The Little Lust Chapel on the Hill lands on his desk—and it changes everything.

A handful of months later Fizz’s symbol appeared, another royal sigil, one that Blitzo didn't recognize. Fizz only showed it to him once and hid it behind clothes and gloves every day after. Blitzo saw the sheen of tears in his eyes when he showed him though, those were impossible to miss. His dreams had been dashed as well.
“I'll still be here, Fizz,” Blitzo told him. “I don't care if some royal nut job has you hidden away in a palace somewhere. I'll always be here for you.”
