Oh god...how do I even explain how I feel about this? The character dynamics, the way they all seem like REAL people and even though the exact circumstances might not be super relatable, the way the characters interact definitely are...god I love this!!
Reread this in February 2024 (original note is from November 2022) and I kinda wanna kms rn (this is still the best thing I've ever read but god it's painful)

Okay well um first of all: OW
God this fic hurt in all the best/worst ways
The way Akira isn't in love anymore but is so terrified to break up because he believes Goro will literally kill himself if he does
(and tbh coming home to Goro burning in acid and then finding out he did it because Goro found out about his infidelity probably solidified that fear)
The way Goro refused to get therapy, refused to make friends, refused to do ANYTHING to help himself
The way the ending was not very happy at all, especially the fact Akira didn't break up with the other guy (what the fuck Akira????)
Anyway, this hurted. -
