Summary
“What’s the plural for a group of Steves?” asks Natasha, and it’s weirdly comforting that the question has a hint of whimsical hysteria to it. Good, Bucky’s not the only one who’s not dealing well with all of this.
“A clusterfuck,” he says. “A clusterfuck of Steves.”
Despite how little sense his life has made since he got on a battlefield to fight a bunch of aliens, Bucky's pretty sure he knows exactly what's happened when a much older Steve appears after the mission to return the Infinity Stones: he left Bucky behind to get his much deserved happily ever after in the past. Only then another Steve shows up, and another. And Bucky realizes he still hasn't got any idea what's going on.
What he does have is a whole lot of Steves, a fraught relationship with his own Steve, and tentative plans to leave. But the more Bucky talks to all these different versions of Steve, the more he begins to wonder if leaving really is what's best for him and his Steve, or if there's a way to make something new out of their long friendship.

Summary
Supper secured and stuffed away in his trousers, he looks up to find the silver-haired stranger in the corner, the one person who hadn’t heckled him. The man is objectively gorgeous, with fascinating hair and a body that makes Jaskier’s mouth water a little.
Oh yes, he decides quickly, he will be climbing this stranger like a tree.
He’s a little wrong-footed when he works out that the stranger is a witcher with big scary swords Jaskier’s heard horror stories about, but after a quick moment of thought, he also thinks about how very many things the fae elders have been wrong about all his life and decides to ignore them once again. The witcher–Geralt of supposedly Rivia, even though Jaskier can tell from his accent that that’s a lie–tries to get rid of him, but Jaskier is nothing if he’s not determined, and he’s simply too damn interested to get scared off easily.
The witcher has clearly not realized that Jaskier is something to be hunted, and Jaskier, well, he’s never excelled at silly things like self-preservation.

Jaskier thinks he hit rock bottom when Geralt flushed twenty years of friendship down the drain, but then he finds himself suddenly translucent and rudely walked through by a traveller. Isolating the emotions and communication from the context of the Witcher fandom gives me a lot to think about in terms of my own regrets and grievances. There are works that show me new things to work through in therapy like a slap in the face, but this is beautifully written and doesn’t stray anywhere near overwhelming.
Also, this is just a bloody amazing piece of work and does justice to the characters - not trivialising but also not labouring too much.

Summary
Left in the wake of Geralt’s ire on the mountain, Jaskier descends. Geralt follows after taking time to meditate, and begins to realise that he’s started something devastating that he may not be able to navigate.
Obviously inspired by the events of Netflix’s Witcher, Episode Six, although from here it’ll go waaay out of canon. And the bold/italicised lyrics – I shouldn’t need to say – but they are from ‘Landslide’ by Fleetwood Mac.

Summary
“Bucky?” Steve calls softly, and Bucky halts, going preternaturally still.
Steve finds himself thrown back to that day on the bridge, staring at the assailant who’d worn his best friend’s face, a flame of hope fluttering in his chest.
It’s with similar feeling that he watches Bucky slowly raise his eyes to meet Steve’s, and a similar agony pierces through him as Bucky stares at Steve with the same blank eyes of the Soldier.
“Steve,” Bucky says, after a too-long pause, brow ever-so-slightly furrowed.
His gaze goes to Sam as if he’s seeking reassurance. As if he needs confirmation that what he’s seeing is real. Only after Sam has offered a subtle nod does he look back at Steve, face pale as milk, and very empty.
“How— Why are you… here?”

I wrote this request piece from the point of view of a plus sized woman – I am one myself, and have been all my life. Some of the language and experiences in this fic come from a very real place. The process of loving yourself is one that is ever-evolving and will be a lifelong endeavour, but I promise you it’s one worth starting. To her eyes, he was spoiled, ungrateful of the privileges he’d been granted by life. He refused to join Resistance enterprise for a long time, working for Snoke instead, he was harsh with Leia and Han, hostile with Luke…
It all changed two months before Christmas, when they entered Resistance enterprise headquarters to find Holdo dishevelled, alone when Leia never missed a day, and she informed them that Ben Solo had almost succeeded in committing suicide the night before.
Rey’s world tilted upside down.A Christmas story full of angst, but also hope, love, healing, forgiveness, and acceptance. And family, of course.

Note: This is a retelling of the Persephone and Hades story. It does not involve abduction or rape, and is told from a different perspective where she willingly goes with him. This retelling is fashioned after the slightly more formal style of prose I have encountered when reading Greek myths, and the way the stories are worded and translated from original ancient texts.

When Harry was gifted in fourth year, Hermione never imagined he'd leave her behind.
Some of the Chosen had yet to rise to their divine purpose, bringing many of the magical pantheon to Hogwarts in search of them. Hermione hoped to get through seventh year without thinking about Hades, never mind seeing him in person for the first time in years. Against her better judgement, she agreed to help him plan a wedding present for his lost bride. Their healing friendship could only last until he found Persephone, of course.
A shame really. Winter was far more pleasant with the God of the Underworld by her side.
