Toshinori feels a painful ache in his back, it itches, it hurts, it feels like something is trying to claw through his skin from the inside. But he doesn't speak out. He swallows the pain down and makes it through the day anyways, taking a pain med almost every passing period just to manage the pain.
But when school is out, that pain rockets through his body in ways that not even he can handle, it's like something is tearing through him.

Izuku's got the heart of a hero. He's had it ever since he knew what a hero was. He dashed around the house, saying he'd be the greatest hero ever, just like All Might.
When he was diagnosed as Quirkless, people looked down on him, said it would never happen. His protective mother cried by his side that night, apologizing.
So when Izuku admitted to thinking of a ridiculously stupid idea, he didn't expect that Inko would not only allow him to do it, but join in.
Or - I got sick and tired of inko dying or being abusive in vigilante izuku fics and had her join in the fun.
