Summary

Summary
It's Christmas, and Tess Wright is in her first real long-term relationship with Sky Hawthorne. As far as she's concerned, their relationship is Hallmark-worthy. Perfect.
What she doesn't know is that Sky isn't who he seems to be. Not exactly. Sky has magic and lives a secret life hunting dangerous non-humans for an organization called Parallel. A close call on a routine mission almost ends badly for Sky, but he makes it out - mostly - unharmed.
Tess and Sky go on to have a perfectly Hallmark-worthy Christmas, despite the setbacks.

Alexander's days at King's College started early. Much earlier than his roommate - Robert Troup - cared to be awake. (Essentially a story in which Alexander needs a proofreader for a paper, and pesters Robert to do it for him, while Robert panics about a late assignment.) (Sort of historically accurate. Forgive any not-so-historical-ness, because it was just for fun and my own amusement.)

In 1777, General George Washington sends Alexander Hamilton and a small group of men to destroy the flour mills on the Schuylkill River before the British can reach them. When the mission goes wrong, Washington receives word that Hamilton was killed in a skirmish with British Dragoons.
Unaware that Washington believes he is dead, Alexander makes his way back to camp with news for the general and congress.
