Summary
It's been six months since Kaiba left for the afterlife, chasing after his rival towards the ends of the earth.
Leaving him behind.
Mokuba has taken over KaibaCorp in his brother's absence, carrying on his work after the incident with Diva. But after six months with no hint of his brother's return, Mokuba is at his wit's end. Even with Yugi's assistance, the young Kaiba feels his heart sinking deeper and deeper into dispair. He feels abandoned, lost without the elder brother who had protected him his entire life.
But after taking a day off at Yugi's request, Mokuba finds a box hidden away in his brother's study, a box with a letter, a set of keys, and a deed to a property in some dingy town named Yajū. A box left for them by their late parents.
Needing a break, and curious about the history of his family, Mokuba leaves KaibaCorp in the hands of Yugi and departs for Yajū. While there, Mokuba meets the colorful cast of this mountain town, learns of his parent's story, and discovers more about himself then he thought possible.

His pride wounded, Karamatsu tells The Essence to prove it. And prove it it does. Thought how it proves it flips Karamatsu's entire world on its head.
