The first time, it was annoying, but Nolan was able to grit his teeth and let it slide, because he was nothing if not grateful for Allen's hospitality, given Nolan's past... mistakes.
The second time took more patience, some concentrated deep breathing, but no amount of effort could block out the words he was hearing, the cooing, the pleading, the grunting, the slapping.
By the third night, Nolan had had enough.

When John Price's… partner went MIA, presumed KIA (hoped KIA) on a mission to take down the Zaragoza cartel in Mexico, Price had eventually been forced to come to terms with the fact that he was never going to see him again. He'd done the work to accept that, to stop letting it consume him, to start living his life again, without the man he'd been sure he'd spend the rest of his life with.
A decade later, while he's on a new mission to take down Zaragoza, Price is faced with a ghost from his past, a zombie maybe would be a better description; Simon certainly hauls himself out of the grave like one. Simon doesn't remember him, Simon doesn't even seem to remember English anymore, let alone who Price is to him…
…was to him.
And so starts Price's new mission, the only one that will ever matter again: to get Simon back from Roba's brainwashing, to convince him he's a person, to convince him he's safe, to help him live again when his brain has been turned inside out.
To help him remember.
He has to remember.
All those memories can't just- they can't just be gone.

Summary
What's between Price and him is a very new part of their dynamic, born out of Simon's failed attempt at a hookup and running to Price for reasons he's not quite sure of. Ghost was piss drunk and completely done with the entire situation. His lack of control over his emotions in the moment made it even more frustrating. He had gone to the bar looking for a good time, only to end up with bloody knuckles instead.
Or
Price makes an offer to help Simon find his footing. Simon relies on Price's control in his most vulnerable of moments.
