Summary
This wasn’t supposed to happen-
During the Raider Trash Beast Arc, Rudo and a few other cleaners including Zanka, Enjin, Riyo and Dear Santa, are stranded together. The location where they were stuck was almost too outlandish to believe. While stuck in an unfamiliar place for most, secrets come out and team Akuta learns much more about their Spherite member than they ever thought they would. Realities for Rudo that are far different than what even people on the ground deal with.
Will they be able to reunite with Team Child? Will they survive? Will the team stick together? What are the raiders doing right now? Will this all drive them crazy- and for the love of God—someone clean up the blood on the floor!

Tiny cracks slowly spread beneath his forearms, creeping across the ledge one fracture at a time as the beast lumbered closer.
"Shit..." Rudo breathed, sweat stinging his eyes as it slipped down his face. He tightened his grip around Dear's wrist, forcing his aching fingers to hold on. The younger boy stared back up at him, bright blue eyes wide with worry as the darkness spread endlessly beneath them.
Dear slipped another inch, and Rudo's heart lurched. "Hang on," he grunted through clenched teeth. "I've got you."

”You doin’ okay?” Enjin asks.
Rudo startles from his thoughts and faces the blonde.
He wants to say that he hurts. In his hand missing its glove, in his chest where his heart should be, in the ghost of his father that lingers here and now and everywhere. He hurts in the areas of his body he doesn’t have the words to name. But instead, he says:
“Yeah…I’m okay.”
Or, Rudo struggles under the weight of all his hurts, and his newfound family refuses to let him carry it alone.

The blonde sat back up again. “No, I’m tryna tell you—oh, for fuck’s sake, Rudo,” Enjin huffed—dragged a hand down his face—made such a strange expression that Rudo frowned and squinted harder in response. He sighed again. “I don’t know how to get you to understand where I’m coming from.”
The boy blinked again, taken aback. “Okay?”
“Don’t pull this shit again,” Enjin said, and then shook his head and backtracked, “Or—well—try not to. Damn. Did you, well—want—to do what you did?”
(or: rudo’s arms flare up, and in a moment of agonized stupidity, he relies on his old coping mechanisms to get through the pain. enjin stumbles in on it.)

Sometimes Rudo thought it would be easier to cut his arms off and pray that one of the gods would let him regrow his limbs without the presence of pain or ravished tissue—violated, a spiritual wrongdoing—some sin that Rudo wasn’t privy to, something he never committed. When his arms hurt like this, he daydreamed about lopping it all off. He wouldn’t, but he thought about it.
(or: rudo’s reacts very poorly to a flare-up. it leads to the discovery of the inevitable.)

It's as if he was drowning in an ocean of water that hasn't quite reached his lungs, not yet invaded through his nostrils. His eyes remain squeezed shut, body positioned awkwardly against a hard surface. Rudo remains there, his limbs as still as a statue as they rest at either side of his torso. There's a ringing, and his senses slowly seem to be coming back to him.
Or: Rudo finds himself transmigrated into the world of Twisted Wonderland. Which death will find him faster? A direbeast blasting flames at him? Or the incoming stress of having every single problem in NRC resting on his shoulders?

He doesn’t wait to see the man’s response before he pushes through the crowd of people and runs. “Wait!” Tony calls after him.
