Summary
Hiccup runs away, leaving a village to fend for itself. A villain appears, the epitome of what Berkians stand against. The Dragon Master, Conquerer—the names don't matter. An incarnation of the devil, they call him.
Desperation at the edge of their senses, and a world that seems cascading towards their doom. They offer a sacrifice, abandoning any principle they have for their chance for a greater good, or so they tell themselves.
After all, what are they do against a creature that edges near the gods? Able to harness the perverse destruction that dragons can hold?
